Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) is a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations anywhere all over the world regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, color, cultural diversity and social background. HHRD Afghanistan (Regional Office of Helping Hand USA) got registered as an international INGO in February 2014 with the number of (402) with the ministry of economy in the Islamic republic of Afghanistan to serve Afghan destitute families all over Afghanistan, HR assistant will assist the director and programs manager and other project staff in the HR and some admin relevant responsibilities.


·       Bachelor degree in pharmacy or pharmacology.

·       At least three years of working experience with NGOs in relevant position

·       Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.

·       Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications, used by pharmacies.

·       Great organizational skills.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Good communication skills in English,  Dari and Pashto

·       Excellent interpersonal skills


Duties & Responsibiliites:

·       Compound and dispense medications, as prescribed by medical doctors.

·       Monitor customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.

·       Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.

·       Conduct health and wellness screenings.

·       Provide immunizations, and other medical services, such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.

·       Keep accurate customer records.

·       Ensure a safe and clean working environment.

·       Complete operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.

·       Adhere to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.

Perform other administrative tasks when needed.
