Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) is a global humanitarian relief and development organization responding to human sufferings in emergency and disaster situations anywhere all over the world regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, color, cultural diversity and social background. HHRD Afghanistan (Regional Office of Helping Hand USA) got registered as an international INGO in February 2014 with the number of (402) with the ministry of economy in Afghanistan to serve Afghan destitute families all over Afghanistan, HHRD Afghanistan needs one finance /Accounts officer who Carry out the overall finance issues and the candidate will receive 30000 AFN monthly.


·        BSc degree in Economics ,Finance or Accounting for four years

·        Proven Work experience as a Finance Assistant, Finance Officer or similar role

·       Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures

·       Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)

·       Must be familiar with quick books and only accounting software and proven experience is required with accounting software

·       Organizational and time-management skills

·       Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors

·       Good communication skills in English, Dari and Pashto.

·       Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent in English and Dari typing and speaking


Duties & Responsibiliites:

·       Process and pay for invoices

·       Prepare and distribute checks to employees and vendors

·       Process bank transfer requests

·       Complete and submit tax returns, VAT returns and National Insurance contributions, and register all taxes paid

·       Check and updating ledger balances

·       Scan, filing and logging Financial documents

·       Beal with online accounting software

·       Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions and update daily cash flows

·       Prepare balance sheets

·       Support monthly payroll and keep organized records

·       Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed

·       Provide administrative support during budget preparation

·       Prepare in quarterly and annual financial for audits 

·       Process all projects cash with relevant departments and taking the financial documents.

·       Prepare and complete the Monthly Financial reports of all programs for preparing vouchers.

·       Keep the management updated about expenses of all the projects, on daily weekly

·       Report to programs manager and director on daily and weekly bases regarding the expenses

·       Proper maintenance of financial records and documents and monthly bases
